My first piece, ‘Illuminate’, features detailed pen work. It is a piece which connects between the simplicity of basic geometry, and the beauty of native flora. I titled the piece ‘Illuminate’, as I designed it to be interpreted as a lens in which through the triangle, the beauty of the flower is revealed. (Price 30$)
On the other hand, my second piece, titled ‘Rolling Thunder’, comprises predominantly of pencil work, however, I also used some black pen to emphasise shadows and black shades. It’s a drawing that’s mainly based upon perspective. Some technical work involving shading and blending also went into the clouds. (Price 30$)
Here’s my bio:
My name is Sebastian Anderson, I’m 20 years old, and I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I am a full time Uni student, studying Urban and Regional Planning, and I enjoy drawing in my spare time.
Growing up in South Australia has had major impacts on my artistic style. I love recreating Australian landscapes with my own artistic design, and I’m fascinated with the complicated and intricate beauty of Australian flora.
Another passion of mine is drawing abstract design pieces, employing techniques such as symmetry, stippling, shading, and other such techniques which give my abstruse drawings more depth and individuality. I love to give viewers something to search for in my pieces, and my goal is to enthrall viewers with the depth and detail I employ so that they too can get lost in both the illusionary patterns of my abstract pieces, and the magnificent simplicity in my recreations of the Australian country.
